Former TOWIE star Jessica Wright makes a statement with loud T-shirt as she steps out for a pre-Christmas meal 

It would seem The Only Way Is Models for TOWIE alum Jessica Wright.

The brunette reality personality, 31, stepped out on Thursday night for a pre-Christmas dinner with pals and made sure she was noticed.

Despite sporting a taupe long fur coat, she simply slung the garment over her shoulders so as to reveal the statement T-shirt she wore underneath.

The white T displayed the phrase I Only Date Models in bold black text and was cropped just enough to show a hint of the star’s waist.

She completed the look with a black pencil skirt and black strappy heels, and wore a black choker around her neck.

Her chestnut tresses fell loosely about her shoulders as she strutted down the London street. 

It’s been a heartwrenching week for the Wright family as they marked the first anniversary of their beloved Nanny Pat’s death.

But Jessica and her clan were determined to celebrate as they headed out to mark her father’s birthday on Wednesday.

Jess was among the relatives who went to her dad, Mark Wright Sr.’s 60th birthday bash in Chigwell, Essex. 

Joining brother Mark and his wife Michelle Keegan, Jessica looked sensational in a ruffled off-the-shoulder jumpsuit. 

The evening out came just days after she posted a moving tribute to her fellow TOWIE star and grandmother, Pat, who died last December aged 80 following a brief illness.

Jess and Mark took to their social media to share gushing messages about their beloved family matriarch on Friday.

Jessica wrote to her 1.2 million Instagram followers: ‘A year ago today my heart got completely broken, lost my best friend.

‘How lucky I was to have you for so long though. My angel, miss you every day nan, the kindest, funniest, bravest woman ill ever know. Love you.’

The brunette beauty shared the heartbreaking message alongside a touching picture of the two of them in happier times. 

Meanwhile, Jess’ 29-year-old brother Mark shared a thoughtful poem on the photo sharing site, called I Miss You.

Captioning the pic, he wrote by the poem: ‘1 year today. Miss you so much nan. Always thinking of you girl. I love you xx’.

Still dealing with the grief since her passing, Carol Wright wrote a heartfelt message to her mother, candidly admitting she wished she ‘had one more day to talk to her’.  

Sharing a sweet video of her mother, she said: ‘A year today this amazing lady past away I just wished I had one more day to talk to her. 

‘She was a caring kind funny unselfish beautiful mummy to me and to everyone. Give dad a kiss from me xxx miss you both so much xxx’.

Nanny Pat, full name Patricia Brooker, was a much-loved star of the show, famed for cooking up her sausage plaits and hilarious one-liners.

The lovely lady celebrated her 80th birthday on the ITVBe reality show in November 2015 – a month before her passing – enjoying a royal wedding themed birthday bash in Surrey.  

Incredibly close to her family, she was the proud mother of five children, including daughter Carol Wright, 14 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

The matriarch, who was born in 1935, initially turned down the chance of appearing on TOWIE alongside her family as she said she wanted to watch television, not be on it.

But she soon changed her mind and became one of the most loved characters on the show.

She once said: ‘It’s a shame that my Charlie wasn’t around to see us all on television. He wouldn’t believe it, but it’s really lovely.’

In 2012, she told the Daily Mail: ‘Mark started filming for the show and he kept talking about me to the producers and before I knew what was happening I was starring.

‘I told him it would just be a one-off thing but I can’t get out of it now. I can’t go anywhere without getting recognised these days because of the fame. 

She gained a fan following thanks to her frank attitude and witty one-liners.

She said: ‘I am a typical Essex girl, well I hope so! I am nice, but I am just plain, unlike all the young girls with their fake tans and big heels. I do love handbags though.’
